Tomar, also known in English as Thomar, is a city and a municipality in Santarém District in Portugal. Kick off your visit on the 8th (Sat): explore the historical opulence of Castelo de Almourol, then step into the grandiose world of Castelo de Tomar, and then get the adrenaline pumping with NaturZ. On the next day, take in the spiritual surroundings of Monastery of Alcobaca, then examine the collection at Museu Monografico do Barrio, then take some stellar pictures from Monte de Sao Bartolomeu, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Batalha Monastery.
