Venice of the West

Regarded as an art and history city, Nantes is called the Venice of the West.
Start off your visit on the 11th (Fri): step into the grandiose world of Chateau des Ducs de Bretagne, see the interesting displays at Les Machines de L'ile, and then take a stroll through Passage Pommeraye. On the next day, admire the natural beauty at Jardin des Plantes, then learn about winemaking at Domaine de la Grange, and then contemplate the long history of Cite Medievale.
