Geneva brings the world to one small city with a huge expat population and the highest number of international organizations in any one city.

Start off your visit on the 2nd (Sat): make a trip to Palais des Nations, Genève and then explore the activities along Lake Geneva. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: don't miss a visit to The Flower Clock, then admire the local landmark of The Geneva Water Fountain, then pause for some photo ops at Reformation Wall, and finally admire the striking features of Cathedrale de Saint-Pierre.

The adventure continues: fly like a bird with a parasailing or paragliding tour, pause for some serene contemplation at Schlosskirche, identify plant and animal life at Mt Pilatus, and take in the awesome beauty at Harderkulm.

You can drive from Geneva to Interlaken in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or do a combination of train and bus. In October, daytime highs in Interlaken are 16°C, while nighttime lows are 6°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 10th (Sun) to allow time to fly back home.
