Traveling by car from Abu Dhabi to Dubai takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of bus and subway; or fly. In May, plan for daily highs up to 44°C, and evening lows to 32°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 12th (Thu) early enough to go by car to Sharjah.

Kick off your visit on the 12th (Thu): get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Sharjah Aquarium, get in on the family fun at Al Montazah Parks, and then examine the collection at Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization. Keep things going the next day: take an in-depth tour of Mleiha Archaeological Centre, make a trip to Al Majaz Waterfront, and then stop by Blue Souk.

Sharjah is very close to Dubai. Traveling from Dubai in May, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be little chillier in Sharjah, with lows of 29°C. You will have some time to spend on the 14th (Sat) before leaving for Ras Al Khaimah.

Kick off your visit on the 14th (Sat): add some fun to your beach time Al Boom Diving. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 15th (Sun): browse the different shops at Al Hamra Mall and then make a splash at Ice Land Water Park.

Traveling by car from Sharjah to Ras Al Khaimah takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and taxi. In May in Ras Al Khaimah, expect temperatures between 47°C during the day and 28°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 16th (Mon) to allow enough time to fly back home.
