Traveling by flight from Mahabalipuram to Goa takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of taxi and bus. When traveling from Mahabalipuram in February, plan for little chillier days in Goa, with highs around 78°F, while nights are about the same with lows around 75°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 27th (Sun) so you can go by car to Velankanni.
