The capital and political center of Switzerland, Bern sits on a peninsula formed by the U-shaped River Aare.
Kick off your visit on the 13th (Thu): step into the grandiose world of Gruyeres Castle, make a trip to Mosesbrunnen, get curious at Einstein House (Einsteinhaus), then wander the streets of UNESCO-Altstadt von Bern, and finally look for all kinds of wild species at Barenpark.
