Hampi — 1 night

The temple town of Hampi sits on the site where one of the richest and biggest cities on the planet once stood, with the ruins of the old city protected as a World Heritage Site.
On the 26th (Tue), don't miss a visit to Dasara Dibba, explore the activities along Tungabhadra River, then delve into the distant past at Group of Monuments at Hampi, and finally take in the dramatic natural features at Matanga Hill. Chennai to Hampi is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and taxi; or drive. While traveling from Chennai, expect a bit cooler days and about the same nights in Hampi, ranging from highs of 31°C to lows of 23°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 27th (Wed) early enough to go by car to Badami.
