Sitting at the point where three mountain rivers meet, the hill station of Munnar has become known as a tea-growing center in the south of the country.
Discover out-of-the-way places like Climbing Tours and Kalari Kshethra. Get in touch with nature at Periyar Tiger Reserve and Anamudi Peak. Explore Munnar's surroundings by going to Thekkady (Tropical Chocolate Factory, Periyar Lake, &more). There's still lots to do: explore the striking landscape of Rajamalai (Eravikulam) National Park, examine the collection at Tea Museum, admire the engineering at Mattupetty Dam, and take in nature's colorful creations at Tea Gardens.
