Emerald City

Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Chihuly Garden and Glass and Museum of History & Industry are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Bring the kids along to Pike Place Market and Space Needle. The adventure continues: see the interesting displays at The Museum of Flight, see Seattle Art Museum, get engrossed in the history at National Nordic Museum, and take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports.

Hollywood North

Known as "Hollywood North," Vancouver boasts one of the largest film/television industries in the world, second only to Los Angeles and New York.
Get a sense of the local culture at Granville Island and Gastown. Kids will enjoy Stanley Park and Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. There's much more to do: meet the residents at Vancouver Aquarium, kick back and relax at Kitsilano Beach, see some colorful creatures with Sea Dragon Charters, and take in the dramatic natural features at Vancouver Seawall.
