Rotterdam — 9 nights

Manhattan on the Maas
Located in the South Holland province, Rotterdam is one of the Netherlands' most lively cities, as well as one of the largest trading ports in the world.Bring the kids along to Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen and Dutch Pinball Museum. National Military Museum and Airborne Museum at Hartenstein are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Change things up with these side-trips from Rotterdam: Railway Museum (Het Spoorwegmuseum) (in Utrecht), Amersfoort (Onze-Lieve-Vrouwetoren, Koppelpoort, &more) and Singer Laren Museum, Theatre and Sculpture Garden (in Laren). There's still lots to do: get engrossed in the history at Het Noordbrabants Museum, get in on the family fun at Theme Park Plaswijckpark, examine the collection at Natuurmuseum Brabant, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Sint Janskerk.
