Rome — 9 nights

Eternal City
Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.Step out of the city life by going to Catacombs of Saint Callixtus and Riserva Naturale Zompo lo Schioppo. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Rome: Tivoli (Villa d'Este & Villa Adriana) and Grotte Dell'Arco (in Bellegra). There's still lots to do: contemplate the long history of Colosseum, get to know the fascinating history of Piazza Navona, make a trip to Roman Forum, and admire the local landmark of Trevi Fountain.
Plan my trip to Rome with suggested itineraries provided by Inspirock.
If you are flying in from India, the closest major aiports are Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport, Ciampino–G. B. Pastine International Airport and Perugia San Francesco d'Assisi – Umbria International Airport. In September, plan for daily highs up to 32°C, and evening lows to 18°C.
