Tivoli is a town and comune in Lazio, central Italy, about 30km east-north-east of Rome, at the falls of the Aniene river where it issues from the Sabine hills. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Villa d'Este and Museo Didattico Del Libro Antico. You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Villa Adriana and Tempio della Tosse. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Tivoli: Monastero Di S.Benedetto (in Subiaco) and Museo e Cripta della Cattedrale di Anagni (in Anagni). There's still lots to do: make a trip to Temple of Sibilla, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Santuario di Ercole Vincitore, contemplate the long history of Chiesa ed Ex Convento di San Pastore, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Cattedrale di San Lorenzo.
