A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Eiffel Tower and Musee Marmottan Monet. Step off the beaten path and head to Musee du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac and Musee des Arts Forains. There's still lots to do: admire the masterpieces at Musee d'Orsay, wander the streets of Latin Quarter, see the interesting displays at Fondation Louis Vuitton, and admire the landmark architecture of Arc de Triomphe.

Venice of the West

Regarded as an art and history city, Nantes is called the Venice of the West.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Musee des Blindes and Le Cadre Noir. Kids will enjoy Chateau d'Angers and Chateau des Ducs de Bretagne. Change things up with these side-trips from Nantes: Cathedrale Saint-Maurice d'Angers (in Angers) and Chateau du Plessis-Mace (in Longuenee-en-Anjou). There's still lots to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Cathedrale de Saint-Pierre et Saint-Paul, examine the collection at Musee Jules Verne, admire the natural beauty at Jardin des Plantes, and take a stroll through Passage Pommeraye.
