A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Get some cultural insight at Eiffel Tower and Musee d'Orsay. Explore Paris' surroundings by going to Palace of Versailles (in Versailles), Fondation Claude Monet (in Giverny) and Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Rouen (in Rouen). There's still lots to do: admire the masterpieces at Louvre Museum, see the interesting displays at Musee Rodin, take a stroll through Montmartre, and get a taste of the local shopping with Le Marais.

Venice of the West

Regarded as an art and history city, Nantes is called the Venice of the West.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Chateau de Villandry and Chateau des Ducs de Bretagne. Step out of Nantes with an excursion to Vinea Loire Valley in Azay-le-Rideau--about 2 hours away. There's much more to do: examine the collection at Les Machines de L'ile, admire the natural beauty at Jardin des Plantes, wander the streets of Village de Trentemoult, and don't miss a visit to Chapelle de l'Oratoire.
