A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Step off the beaten path and head to Île de la Cité and Atelier des Lumieres. Do some cultural sightseeing at Eiffel Tower and Musee d'Orsay. There's much more to do: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre, explore the world behind art at Musee De Cluny, take in nature's colorful creations at Jardin des Tuileries, and pause for some photo ops at Arc de Triomphe.

Regarded as an art and history city, Nantes is called the Venice of the West.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Le Cadre Noir and Jardin des Plantes. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Embarcadere de l'Abbaye and Chateau de Tiffauges. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Nantes: Musee Maritime de La Rochelle (in La Rochelle) and Cave Museum, Village Troglodytique de Rochemenier (in Louresse-Rochemenier).
