A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Take a break from Paris with a short trip to Palace of Versailles in Versailles, about 48 minutes away. The adventure continues: admire the masterpieces at Louvre Museum, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre, admire the striking features of Sainte-Chapelle, and stroll around Luxembourg Gardens.

Dublin, Ireland to Paris is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of ferry and train; or do a combination of ferry and car. The time zone changes from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) to Central European Standard Time (CET), which is usually a 1 hour difference. Regarded as an art and history city, Nantes is called the Venice of the West.
Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Nantes: Chateau de Villandry (in Villandry), Domaine du Vieux Pressoir (in Vaudelnay) and Puy du Fou (in Les Epesses).
