Gateway to India

Only one word accurately describes India's commercial capital Mumbai: big.

Jaipur — 5 nights

Pink City

Known as the "Pink City" because of the color of the stone used for many of its notable structures, Jaipur draws visitors with its chaotic street life and a slew of colorful bazaars selling everything from handmade pottery to tie-dye scarves.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Amber Palace and Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind. Spend the 21st (Wed) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. There's lots more to do: look and learn at Jantar Mantar - Jaipur, admire the landmark architecture of Sheesh Mahal (Hall of Mirrors), get the lay of the land with Walking tours, and explore the world behind art at Jitesh Arts.
