Known as the "Pink City" because of the color of the stone used for many of its notable structures, Jaipur draws visitors with its chaotic street life and a slew of colorful bazaars selling everything from handmade pottery to tie-dye scarves.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Amber Palace and Jantar Mantar - Jaipur. Spend the 23rd (Fri) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. There's still lots to do: get engrossed in the history at City Palace of Jaipur, admire the striking features of Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind, brush up on your military savvy at Nahargarh Fort, and relax and rejuvenate at some of the top local wellness centers.

Traveling by flight from Mumbai to Jaipur takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a train. When traveling from Mumbai in April, plan for somewhat warmer days in Jaipur, with highs around 100°F, while nights are about the same with lows around 74°F.
