Known as the "Pink City" because of the color of the stone used for many of its notable structures, Jaipur draws visitors with its chaotic street life and a slew of colorful bazaars selling everything from handmade pottery to tie-dye scarves.
Get a sense of the local culture at Amber Palace and City Palace of Jaipur. Spend the 2nd (Sun) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. Next up on the itinerary: see the sky in a new way at Jantar Mantar - Jaipur, get the lay of the land with Walking tours, contemplate the long history of Jal Mahal, and admire the striking features of Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind.
