One of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, Madurai sits on the banks of the River Vaigai and serves as a center of Tamil culture.
Step off the beaten path and head to Pazhamudhir Solai and Chella Tours. Kids will appreciate attractions like Alagarkoil Temple and Shrine and Pazhamudhircholai Murugan Temple.
