Surrounded by mountain ranges, forests, valleys, beaches, and deserts, the metropolitan area of Los Angeles is home to over 17 million people.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Wine Tours & Tastings and Battleship USS Iowa Museum. Do some cultural sightseeing at Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum and The Broad. Venture out of the city with trips to Oceanside Pier (in Oceanside) and Carlsbad Village (in Carlsbad). There's much more to do: tour the pleasant surroundings at The Huntington Library, Art Museum and Botanical Gardens, examine the collection at Petersen Automotive Museum, appreciate the extensive heritage of Hollywood Walk of Fame, and take a leisurely stroll along Santa Monica Pier.
