Surrounded by mountain ranges, forests, valleys, beaches, and deserts, the metropolitan area of Los Angeles is home to over 17 million people.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Battleship USS Iowa Museum and Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at The Broad and Heisler Park. Change things up with a short trip to Mission San Juan Capistrano in San Juan Capistrano (about 1h 5 min away). Next up on the itinerary: steep yourself in history at The Huntington Library, Art Museum and Botanical Gardens, get curious at La Brea Tar Pits and Museum, see the interesting displays at Petersen Automotive Museum, and observe the fascinating underwater world at Aquarium of the Pacific.
