The largest municipality in Missouri, Kansas City has an impressive array of world-class museums, shopping areas, and great places to eat, all of which attract tourism to the area.
Get outdoors at Little Blue Trace Trail and Burr Oak Woods Conservation Area. Take a break from Kansas City with a short trip to Lake Remembrance in Blue Springs, about 34 minutes away. There's lots more to do: get engrossed in the history at National WWI Museum and Memorial, contemplate the long history of Bingham Waggoner Mansion & Estate, get your game on at Blade & Timber Axe Throwing, and see the interesting displays at Negro Leagues Baseball Museum.
