The largest municipality in Missouri, Kansas City has an impressive array of world-class museums, shopping areas, and great places to eat, all of which attract tourism to the area.
Escape the urban bustle at Little Blue Trace Trail and Burr Oak Woods Conservation Area. Step out of Kansas City to go to Ellington and see Blue Spring, which is approximately 32 minutes away. There's lots more to do: learn about all things military at National WWI Museum and Memorial, meet the residents at Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead, see the interesting displays at Harry S. Truman Presidential Library & Museum, and take in nature's colorful creations at The Ewing and Muriel Kauffman Memorial Garden.
