The former capital of the Kingdom of Ladakh, Leh possesses a historic old town area marked by stupas, monasteries, and traditional mud-brick houses.
Escape the urban bustle at Khardung La and River Rafting & Tubing. Step off the beaten path and head to Nubra Valley and Alchi Monastery. The adventure continues: stroll through Sand Dunes Leisure Park, explore the striking landscape at Moore Plains, take in the spiritual surroundings of Shanti Stupa, and examine the collection at Stok Palace Museum.

Traveling by flight from Leh to Jaipur takes 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive. In August, plan for daily highs up to 91°F, and evening lows to 76°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 11th (Tue) early enough to fly to Goa.

Goa — 2 nights

On India's western coastline, the former Portuguese colony of Goa tells a visibly different story than the rest of India.
Start off your visit on the 12th (Wed): tour the pleasant surroundings at Ashwem Beach, enjoy the sand and surf at Mandrem Beach, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Arambol Beach. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 13th (Thu): relax and rejuvenate at Aline’s Beauty Care, kick back and relax at Baga Beach, then enjoy the sand and surf at Vagator Beach, and finally delve into the distant past at Chapora Fort.

While traveling from Jaipur, expect little chillier days and about the same nights in Goa, ranging from highs of 85°F to lows of 77°F.
