Leh — 2 nights

The former capital of the Kingdom of Ladakh, Leh possesses a historic old town area marked by stupas, monasteries, and traditional mud-brick houses.
Start off your visit on the 15th (Mon): take in the spiritual surroundings of Spituk Monastery, then see the interesting displays at Stok Palace Museum, and then expand your horizons at Hazara Arts Leh. On your second day here, appreciate the history behind Shey Monastery, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Thiksey Monastery, and then examine the collection at Old Raku House.

Dublin, Ireland to Leh is an approximately 18-hour flight. The time zone changes from Greenwich Mean Time to India Standard Time, which is usually a 5.5 hour difference. Finish your sightseeing early on the 16th (Tue) to allow enough time to fly to New Delhi.
