Leh — 2 nights

The former capital of the Kingdom of Ladakh, Leh possesses a historic old town area marked by stupas, monasteries, and traditional mud-brick houses.
On the 25th (Thu), take in the spiritual surroundings of Spituk Monastery, examine the collection at Stok Palace Museum, and then pick up some new knowledge with Hazara Arts Leh. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 26th (Fri): pause for some photo ops at Shey Monastery, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Thiksey Monastery, and then examine the collection at Old Raku House.

New Delhi — 1 night

Designed by notable English architects and proclaimed India's capital in 1931, New Delhi sits in the middle of a sprawling metropolitan area with a population of over 25 million.
On the 27th (Sat), take in panoramic vistas at Qutub Minar, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Humayun's Tomb, and then steep yourself in history at India Gate.

Getting from Leh to New Delhi by flight takes about 3 hours. Other options: drive; or do a combination of bus, taxi, and train.
