In many ways much more Asian than American, Honolulu is Hawaii's largest city and its center of government, transportation, commerce, and tourism.
Venture out of the city with trips to Haleiwa (Waimea Valley, Sunset Beach Park, &more). There's lots more to do: take in the pleasant sights at Diamond Head State Monument, stroll the grounds of National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, contemplate the long history of Battleship Missouri Memorial, and discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour.

Dublin, Ireland to Honolulu is an approximately 21-hour flight. The time zone changes from Greenwich Mean Time to Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time, which is usually a -10 hour difference.
