In many ways much more Asian than American, Honolulu is Hawaii's largest city and its center of government, transportation, commerce, and tourism.
Honolulu is known for historic sites, wildlife, and sightseeing. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: get engrossed in the history at USS Arizona Memorial, buy something for everyone on your list at Ala Moana Center, explore and take pictures at Diamond Head State Monument, and see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour.
