South Indian spiritualism meets French chic in Pondicherry, an interesting, unusual, and international destination on the Bay of Bengal.
Start off your visit on the 6th (Thu): make a trip to Chunnambar Boat House, stroll through Paradise Beach, make a trip to Sri Aurobindo Ashram, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Arulmigu Manakula Vinayagar Temple, and finally look for gifts at Ma Pondy Cherie. On the 7th (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the architecture and atmosphere at The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, take in the waterfront at Seaside Promenade, then pause for some photo ops at Statue of Marquis Dupleix, then tour the pleasant surroundings at Serenity Beach, and finally admire the striking features of Matrimandir.
