The Port of the Moon

With a long history of producing regional wines since the Romans brought grapevines here during the first century, so many people consider Bordeaux to be the wine capital of the world.
Get a sense of the local culture at Place de la Bourse and Tour Pey-Berland. Venture out of the city with trips to La Rochelle (Vieux Port & Aquarium La Rochelle), Chateau Paloumey (in Ludon-Medoc) and Chateau Lamothe-Bergeron (in Cussac-Fort-Medoc).
