Bordeaux — 9 nights

The Port of the Moon
With a long history of producing regional wines since the Romans brought grapevines here during the first century, so many people consider Bordeaux to be the wine capital of the world.Do some cultural sightseeing at Place de la Bourse and La Cite du Vin. Get out of town with these interesting Bordeaux side-trips: Saint-Emilion (Artisans Createurs a St Emilion, Chateau Laniote, &more), Chateau de Reignac (in Saint-Loubes) and La Grande Dune du Pilat (in Pyla-sur-Mer). There's still lots to do: take a stroll through Promenade Sainte Catherine, explore the world behind art at CAPC Musee d'Art Contemporain, admire the striking features of Tour Pey-Berland, and appreciate the history behind Cathedrale Sainte-Marie de Bayonne.
