Visiting Minnewater Lake and Bourgoyen-Ossemeersen Nature Reserve will get you outdoors. Historic Centre of Brugge and Gravensteen are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Bruges: Vagevuurbos (in Beernem) and The Dunes of Bredene (in Bredene). Step out of the city life by going to Hallerbos and Te Boelaerpark. Grand Place and Atomium are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Get out of town with these interesting Brussels side-trips: Antwerp (Cathedral of Our Lady & Meir). There's much more to do: browse the different shops at Les Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert, take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Michael and St. Gudula Cathedral (Cathedrale St-Michel et Ste-Gudule), examine the collection at Musical Instruments Museum (MIM), and explore the world behind art at Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium.
