The medieval town of Bruges centers around a canal, and the architecture of its historical district has made it a World Heritage Site.
Get some historical perspective at Historic Centre of Brugge and Ghent City Center. Visiting Minnewater Lake and Boat Tours & Water Sports will get you outdoors. Get out of town with these interesting Bruges side-trips: Ghent (Saint Bavo's Cathedral & Gravensteen). There's still lots to do: sample the tasty concoctions at Huisbrouwerij De Halve Maan, make a trip to The Markt, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of Our Lady Bruges, and see the interesting displays at Choco-Story - The Chocolate Museum.

On the 10th (Sat), look for all kinds of wild species at Forestia, then identify plant and animal life at La Roche-aux-Faucons, and then stroll through Le Ninglinspo. On the 11th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: see the interesting displays at Maison de l'eau, then trek along La Vallee de la Hoegne, and then look for all kinds of wild species at Domaine de Berinzenne.
