This place has historical importance for Korean. In the early 1900s, Korea did not have sovereignty because of Japan. Against this, three Korean men visited Den Haag to attend Hague Conventions (1907) and announce the circumstance of Korea at that moment. But sadly, it was not going well. One of the men who visited Hague, Yi Jun, passed away in this building. For Korean, this place is one of the symbols, our ancestors tried to get our own right from the Imperialism.
