Het Aardbeienland, Horst

This is a great place to visit with younger kids (4-10). It is obviously created by someone who is nuts about strawberries. The place consist of lots of strangely shaped buildings with holes for kids to climb through. The layout is a bit chaotic, but that's also part of the charme that Strawberry Land brings. It's better to avoid this place if it is too warm as most of it has been constructed in greenhouses. Also bear in mind; this place is huge. The small restaurant is nice with friendly personel. Only reason why it is not worth 5 stars is due to the poor maintenance (the various strawberry varieties where no where to be found due to the weeds covering them)

It was a nice visit and we had some nice food, the park could have some maintenance, everything looks old and damaged and not taken care of, it's a pity because otherwise I would give it a 4 star. Unfortunately we where not able to pick the strawberries because the ground needed to recover this year.
