I really liked the documentary they produced especially for the museum. The bunker was very interesting and they explain very many things about the history of the Atlantikwall.

I turned up without booking etc, place was busy but not crowded. I was given a very interesting tour in English just by asking whether a tour was available. High recommended, an unexpected highlight of my holiday. It's about a 25 minute walk from the Stena terminal. Plan for 45-60 minutes inside (including the tour) and then about another 60+ minutes if you want to see buildings around the dunes.

Really worth to visit! The museum is located in the old German bunker so you can see and feel the atmosphere of the old times. What is interesting, the museum is running by the volunteers who can tell you many fascinating stories.
