  • There are a lot of small scale models of historic ships. But we really enjoyed exploring the ship Amsterdam.

  • Bit dumbed-down tbh. Tries to suit all ages. You can't get on that clipper ship. No real sense of atmosphere on the ship, poor representation of what it would have been like. The VR was a missed...

  • We spent a very pleasant afternoon in the Maritime museum. The displays were good, the cafe nice but the best bit was wandering the replica large trading ship. You can access most spaces on the ship and get a feel for the size quarters and conditions. Well worth a visit.
  • Beautiful gallery spaces all well curated and accessible by tram and bus from city. At time of visit there were exhibitions relating to a very wide variety of ages and interests. Lovely eating area inside. Externally access to a full size replica East India Company ship plus The Royal Barge.
