Brave the 1,237 steps leading up to Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), famed for its tiger paw prints, tall Buddha statues, and extensive views of the surrounding landscape. Take your time ascending the stairs--they aren't a route to be rushed. The panorama at the summit deserves plenty of attention (and picture-taking), as you take in the reverential, contemplative atmosphere of this secluded spot. Be careful on your way up, and watch out for the monkeys that live there: they don't take kindly to being teased and can become aggressive if separated from their young. Make Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea) a centerpiece of your Krabi Town vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Krabi Town road trip planning app.

Great place to visit. But forget the stair climb to the top unless you are in peak physical condition - 1200+ stairs and very steep. We didn't make it to halfway point. So if you are keen, take a few hours to walk to the top, take lots of water, and don't attempt it unless you are seriously fit. But the location is spectacular.
Amazing view at the top of the mountain but quite demanding hike to reach it. May take some time if your stamina is not great. Stairs are safe but wouldn't recommend to elderly and children. The temple are is quite interesting too. Spent here a few hours.
