M&M Excellence Asia, Choeng Thale

We loved our stay here in the Surin Beach Residence in Phuket (Choeng Thale)! Surin beach is about a 10 min walk away, and there is a family mart on the way for purchasing water and other basic goods. The beach was incredibly beautiful, not very crowded, even during peak season, and there were many vendors offering things like fruit shakes, food and massages. The price for a nice and clean room was certainly worth it for us. The place was clean — there were no bugs inside, and there was the option to have it cleaned for free once per week. The kitchen doesn’t have many utensils, so if you like to cook complicated recipes, this may not be the place for you. There was a smart TV, balcony, and pool for relaxation. Our hosts, Mm and Maxance were very flexible with our check-out time, which we appreciated! The only two (slight) negative points we had: We paid a deposit of 50€ that wasn’t agreed upon before booking. It was returned to us, so don’t worry about being scammed. We also would have wished for a bigger trash can, as it got full quickly.
