  • The Tetrapylon is my favourite bit of ancient Palmyra, original and impressing. I was sad to hear it was damaged during the war, I hope not much.  more »

  • The World Heritage Area of the Palmira region of Syria is the most dense of ancient Byzantine monuments. Between 2011 and 2018, the region suffered heavy damage due to civil war. As soon as peace arrives in the region and the destroyed World Heritage list, these precious artifacts are restored and brought back to the future.
