Laden: Ramseyer's Whisky Connection, Zurich

Wow, just awesome! I was looking for a good whisky shop in Zurich and eventually wanted to buy one bottle. Finally I came out with four bottles after I spent there almost two hours! The owner Markus Ramseyer makes you feel comfortable from the first second. He is really a nice guy and definitely knows a lot about Whisky. I was interested in single malt cask strength whisky and I could try five different ones. The great thing is that you can try every whisky he is selling, thus discovering new ones I would have never tried otherwise. Markus is a passionate person who loves to find out what suits to your taste and also makes you discover new tastes. From now on, I will only go there to buy new bottles as he will be my personal "whisky doctor".

Small store with an exceptionally well curated selection of high-end spirits. Owner is truly passionate about what he carries and each spirit comes with an intensely knowledgeable back story. As the name implies, mostly scotch but also many exquisite bourbons and rums.
