  • They came to Zermatt to reach higher levels on earth and tried to touch the sky. They climbed stairways to heaven and ended on the climbers grave yard. Interesting to visit.  more »
  • Interesting and sobering to read the (brief) elaborations that accompany the epitaphs. Unfortunately many of them are difficult or impossible to read, and thee is no apparent effort to preserve them.  more »
  • There is a public park near by, it's a historical place for over 500 mountaineers memorial :) and they slept forever in peace
  • Well worth the visit. Just stand there close your eyes and imagine how they felt chasing their dreams doing the impossible
