This is a great half day trip. Up the cog railway with some amazing views and you find yourself well up in The Alps. This fare is half off with the SwissRail Pass and it is well worth. Amazing...

At chf 64 return, it’s not cheap; visited in August and it was extremely busy, we had to wait for the next departure. Once the experience starts it’s great. The train is slow which gives plenty of photos opportunities. Once on top you’ve got few different hiking opportunities each offering breathtaking views. It’s full of tourists but most of them are lazy and don’t hike much.

Schynige Platte Hotel Schynige Platte　Stayed at the hotel. Cheap accommodation include Harfboad . The food is delicious It's a lot, I can only eat half. ☆5　Satisfactory hotel Photograph Taken from the hotel balcony. Berner Oberland　The lake＆Alps view is the best. and Botanical garden is good.
