Really impressive, it's the second time in 33 years that i visit this lake and i was impressed, although because of the lack of rain the water level is extremely low. Plenty of trails around it to visit. I had a lovely experience that i can only recommend to all nature lovers.

You can either walk from the Ambri-Piotta station(15 minutes) or wait for the bus (you might have to wait a while though). After 10 minutes of funicular you will have reached Piora. From there you will walk about 10 minutes and you will have reached Lake Ritom. Amazing! Make sure to keep on walking so that you don't miss out on the other lakes! Beautiful, breathtaking!
