Lauterbrunnen Church, Lauterbrunnen

Lauterbrunnen is a lovely and picturesque village with very nice views to the mountains. There are very nice hiking trails which starts from the Lauterbrunnen. We did a circle track from Lauterbrunnen to Murren (stayed there for the night) and to Lauterbrunnen. The trail is very beautiful with many waterfalls and picturesque views. Definitely anyone visiting the region should visit this village.

I am going to use the Church as a reference point for the village of Lauterbrunnen. It has got to be one of the most beautiful places to visit in Switzerland. Just imagine standing at the church and being able to see 7-8 waterfalls falling from high cliffs with clouds playing hide and seek with you, what a sight that must be. The village is an hour drive from Interlaken alongside a roaring river. You can park at the church parking which is very large and then slowly walk around the village taking in the sights. Quaint restaurants also dot the village if you are in the mood for some local fare.
