From Frutigen go by car or by bus direction Adelboden. Bus Stop Hohstalden. Cross the privately owned bridge. Family Wäfler will wait for you at the other end. They serve lots of delicious local food.... more

wow and wow! hidden gem in Frutigen area. long bridge with beautiful views on the other side. Small Wooden house for kids, a slide, and blackberry bushes were waiting for us. Also a great restaurant, we tried the ice screams which were perfect . There is a beautiful nice trail on the mountain that can bring you back to Frutigen town

Nice bridge with a great view. It's about, I'd say, 50m from the ground. At the other end of the bridge you're asked to donate 2CHF or buy a drink from the cafe there. Definitely worth it to have a little drink before you head back. Down on the ground there's also a riverbed you can go onto. Or you can take a hike alongside the river. I've seen signs with multiple hour hiking trails there.
