too fuzzy ! too much story.telling.. we wanted to have a simple look inside, which was not possible with the salesman in charge. we went back later where a friendly saleswoman took care of us...

Lovely shop near the Johanniterbrucke. The factory is next door and the smell is amazing. I was the only one in the shop at 10:45 on a Thursday and they had free samples. You can get Leckerly in bags or in beautiful tins and boxes featuring local artists--I'll definitely be back!

Jakob's Basler Leckerly are the best! Hidden jewel of Basel, definitely worth the short walk! The family owned store is authentic and traditional, I found a couple of sweets for my loved ones and myself. Tip, if you take your time you might get a free story about the history of their Basler Leckerly.
