Wildlife Sweden-Camp Angra, Ljusdal

I would highly recommend visiting Wildlife Sweden at camp Ängra. It does not matter whether you are actively looking for wildlife or just looking for a quiet place to rest, camp Ängra can provide you with both! The surrounding area has stunning scenery and is very accesible with regard to walking as well as driving motorized vehicles. The hospitality at camp Ängra was amazing, they will make sure that their guests have everything they need and are always very helpful. Despite unforeseen circumstances that made it somewhat difficult for Marco to run the camp, he never came up short and managed to make my stay at camp Ängra very worthwhile! I booked a night in the photo hideout and had two separate encounters with the Eurasian Brown Bear as well as the Wolverine! Even though seeing wild animals is a matter of luck, Wildlife Sweden will do anything in their power to improve your chances significantly. I will definitely return to camp Ängra, hopefully very soon.

This was an absolute highlight of our Sweden trip. A quiet comfortable Campsite with good and clean facilities, great options for wildlife experiences/tours. The Canoe trip is an absolute must do. Not only you get to see beavers but to experience the wilderness from the water is very special. But the most important value of this camping is the passion and motivation from the owners. They make you feel welcome and at home! It’s really Hoss oss! Oh, and do try Aafkes kitchen, very tasty! We’ll be back!
