Romme Alpin, Borlange

Really nice place to skinless that 3 hours north from Stockholm. If you need to rent for less that 500kr you have everything. Check for the ski pass in advance because now with the situation they have a limit with the amount of people that can go in. The restaurant is ok, but in my opinion they have a lot to improve. I stay at a Airbnb only 10 minutes away from Romme Alpin call “The old farm Otsgården” situated on the Store Tuna plainlands.

We were a group of three beginners and one intermediate who visited the place two days ago. We stayed at the lodge for one night and skied for two days. Facilities at the ski lodge are very good and nothing to complain about them. Regarding the slopes, they are well maintained and lift operators are very helpful. However, beginner slopes can be very crowded between 1000 to 1500 hour. If you are a beginner, be cautious when taking the lifts. We saw many accidents while beginners trying to release the lift at the top. So it's better to take every other lift to have extra space between two skiers.
